Target Audience

Throughout the design process, you should be clear about your clients (potential users or customers). Not everyone is the same.

When you define the problem, try to sketch who your target audience will be. Be as specific as possible.

Then research those people. Maybe your definition of the audience has to change; you discover that the way you delineated the audience doesn't make sense. Hopefully, you learn lots of ways the audience differs from yourself, and learn a lot about their needs and wants.

As you prototype, be sure to involve the audience in evaluating the options.
